A Visit from my Seoul Sister!!

One of the best friends, life companions and friends I've EVER had came to visit me in Seoul last week!! We had a lot of fun, doing the things we are used to doing: hanging out, laughing hysterically, watching movies and doing sporadic adventures! Here's some silly pictures from our fun!!

 

Sampson's injury....

So Sampson and I recently experienced a terrible hardship. He suffered a compound fracture on his left hind leg when hiding under some blankets and I, with full regret and guilt on my heart, step on him. :'( My friend was recently visiting me and when it happened her and I rushed him to the vet. 

This is Sampson's normal health Veterinarian and knows Sampson very well, (because he is the most handsome rabbit ever, of course). So when I brought him in hysterical, the vet was very understanding, urgent and compassionate, as much as a non English speaking person could be! 

I had to call my managers in to help my translate and get some help with funds, and  by the end of the night we though he might not make it through the recovery and possible surgery. I was a mess and a wreck and could barely keep my mind straight. 

The following day we returned to check on my love, and he made it through the night as charming and happy as ever. I decided against a surgery that required a pin in his heel because the probability of him recovering or making it through the anesthesia was very low. We had him stitched up and bandaged, drugged for pain and infection prevention. 

As of this Friday, Sampson is stitch free, but his heel is still broken. Its his hopping bone, so unfortunately my little baby won't be able to hop to his heart's delight. He is however, doing really well. Does not seem to be in any pain and the vet, Dr. Kye, has been amazing through the whole recovery process. In two months I'll take him back to have final X-rays taken to see if his young bones have healed any better. 

Needless to say I love him so much and am so happy he is in my life!!
